A bit about us...

Paws & Stay, our latest creation, is for self-catering places that go beyond dog friendly. Its mission is to take the stress out of travelling with your dog, from finding a place to stay where you’ll all get a warm welcome, to knowing the best dog-friendly walks, local beaches and attractions.  

Your role

  • Providing operational support to a brand new travel website, ‘Paws & Stay’
  • Brilliantly spinning the administrative plates to support team members
  • Maintaining a trusting relationship with Paws & Stay owners and guests
  • Providing account management support
  • Liaising with and supporting where necessary the whole team (inspectors, marketing/PR, guest experience team, finance, tech, pricing & revenue team.)

Working Hours

30-37.5 hours per week (can be flexible on days/times)

Main tasks and responsibilities

Account Management

  • Communicating with our owners, talking through their listing, booking rules, how the site works, search, marketing/PR and what they can expect
  • All admin tasks from owner eg. Adding new photos, listing changes, edits on the site
  • Review booking performance and feed back to owner
  • Manage calls about guest feedback and damage
  • Work with pricing and revenue team to make pricing updates and upload special offers when needed
  • Manage PR/marketing requests from owners and liaise with marketing team
  • Assist owners with set up of calendar synchronisation, and any ongoing associated queries or tech issues, as well as ensuring calendars are kept up to date wherever possible to avoid double bookings
  • Assist with owner area log in queries, tech issues etc
  • Manually make any owner booking changes to the calendar
  • Send out contract, booking conditions and proof forms to new owners who are joining the collection
  • Help build new owner spaces on the website
  • Maintain the Paws & Stay experience of ‘special’
  • Identify opportunities to improve activities and efficiencies within the team
  • Create operational processes and procedures where needed and constantly look to improve them

Skills and experience


  • An eye for really Special Places to Stay, and empathy for their owners and guests
  • Self-motivated, a willingness to work hard and a can-do attitude
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Natural collaboration skills – a team player who builds positive working relationships to get work done
  • Flexibility to work across multiple projects and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and support others
  • A sense of humour and a streak of creativity when responding to problems
  • Effortless diplomacy: able to deal with owners and guests in a calm, confident and professional way
  • A solution-focused thinker - someone who uses their initiative to really make the most of opportunities and solve problems
  • Happy putting in processes and systems to make things work better

Knowledge and qualifications

  • Customer handling experience
  • Experience with Salesforce or a CMS - desirable, but not essential
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages


Salary and benefits  

  • 30-37.5 hours per week (can be flexible on days/times)
  • £20k per annum (pro rata)
  • 25 days holiday per year, plus bank holiday's (pro rata)
  • Company pension scheme – 5% employee contribution, 3% company contribution
  • An employee-owned company, therefore, after one year of service you will be entitled to a portion of any dividends issued
  • £200 to spend at one of our spaces each year
